How to Use Over Me

Over Me calculates upcoming passes from your coordinates, selected satellite group and minimum elevation.

Enter coordinates or use geolocation

Your latitude and longitude define the local horizon. A small coordinate error is usually acceptable for casual sky watching, but city-level guesses can shift low passes.

Read peak time and direction

The peak time is when the object reaches its highest point above your horizon. Start and end directions help you know where to begin looking.

Filter by quality

Dark or twilight passes with higher maximum elevation are normally the strongest candidates to try first.

Frequently asked questions

Does Over Me store my exact location on the server?

The calculator sends coordinates to the API to compute passes. Saved observer settings are kept in browser storage.

Can I use Over Me for Starlink?

Yes. Select Starlink or another supported group to calculate upcoming passes for that group.
